wu tang catalogue aint that influential on hip hop...
plus mc ren solo discog is good too...nothin to write home about.
It was supposed to be just material released under the group name, but people weren't sticking to that in the Wu Mobb thread. So I think if we're counting solos it has to be from group members while they were still in the group. So yes to Eazy and no to DOC.
Counting solos makes sense for things like impact as well. Those first five Wu solos of course strengthened those five as solo artists - but also made Wu as a whole legendary.
DOC was part of the group, he wrote for some members just as much as Cube did.

don't get me wrong, NWA was revolutionary but in the long run Wu-Tang was more important for hip hop imo, just look at the way RZA influenced sampling, NWA was more important only in political sense, race/poverty and shyt
