I try to bypass it and trap people in their own words. It's easier than getting into a "he said, she said" type of argument. Plus, if you do it well enough, you'll have the other person looking foolish
Can you give me an example of how you would do that?

Also how would you do that with a person who frequently changes their words?

I'd bait them into a conversation about the topic they switch on, in an inquisitive manner that's filled with honesty and nonchalant-like. Then I'd be like "oh, just like how you said blah blah blah?" to put them on the defense. Either they'll attempt to defend violently or bow down to the obvious.

So distract with curiousity then attack without concern for anything they've said up to that point. It'll more than likely piss them off

I just go with it because I don't look putting energy into petty arguments. Butt the minute they do the same thing they were complaining about me doing I throw the previous argument back in their face
