Raptors just cant get a break especially at home.. Ops always be hitting game winners here.. Random scrub look like Allstars..
From a mental stand point I feel like this team plays better on the road.

-Lowry sucked and wasnt good defensively either i mean containing off the dribble,+11 is overrated
-Leonard was mediocre despite his 25..carelss turnovers bad shot selection,horrible switch at the end.
-Siakam,missed alot of open looks and bunnies,made critical defensive mistakes..that 3 by Isaac that tied it at 99 was his man that he lost in the corner
-Nurse only playing Leonard 32 mins is beyond absurd...
Not enough force or energy,we played too casual most of the game...deserved to lose.

Kawhi and Siakam were both decent offensively but both made critical defensive mistakes in the last 2 mins that were COSTLY.
Just to be clear that was Kawhi Leonards fukk up on the Augustin 3 ball....With 4 seconds left you dont switch onto the screener you stick with YOUR man....Some ppl have said it was a communication thing with Gasol NOOOO thats kawhis fault thats your guy you guard him you doint switch with 4 seconds left no time to pick and roll and you should be smart enough to know Augustin was gonna shoot that...You could see him surveying where hes gonna shoot from before the screen came and worst it wasnt even a hard screen he just sagged off and left him unecessarily...

Kawhi came out beasting in the first Q and then our coach iced him and he lost his rhythm. I don’t know if Nurse understands that when you sit players for long stretches like he does with Kawhi and Gasol that it negates any momentum they may have in the game. Bringing players back in at 6 mins in the 4th is bad practice as you’re bringing in guys that are cold during the most intense moments of the game. This coach continues to show that he doesn’t have a great handle on controlling momentum and game flow.
I agree playing him 32 mins is horrible coaching but i keep hearing its a group effort on that last play when its not,that was kawhi's fault...He played aight but man did he fukk up that last defensive coverage...
U nailed it. Watching that play develop I was happy to see Kawhi matched up with DJ and then he sagged off and went under the screen—it was baffling for me. Then on the play prior I screamed at the TV, “where is Siakam!?!?” right before Isaac nailed it. Another issue is we have been making the same mental mistakes defensively for months now and our coaching staff hasn’t been able to correct them. I prefer us as a defensive team when we trap and press because it hides that our normal defensive coverages rely too much on helping from the corners.
On that Isaac 3..Siakam helped on Vucci in the post but as soon as that ball starting to swing he was standing there watching instead of running back out to Issac....Big pet peeve with him is his defense slips way too much,he ball watches and loses his man after his initial action...
Low key Lowry cost us HC against the Bucks back in December..He couldnt make a 3 in the first home game we lost 104-99..He had 0 points that game and had a wide open 3 in the final minute that would have put us up 6 and ended it...Im really starting to despire this fat out of shape nikka...
Yup I saw that. Another criticism I’d have for Nurse is you’re coaching D at your end there...he needs to be helping our players not miss those assignments.
Only time Vucci was able to get anything off was when Ibaka was guarding him.
