Should have won by 20 but im not gonna harp on that...We lost to them in Oakland last year by 3 with DeRozan.
Winning or losing by any set amount doesnt carry over to other games,if Steph played KD wouldnt have taken 31 shots...We missed alot of open 3s and looks in the 4th quarter...Lowry 2/7 OG 1/6 from 3 doesnt mean we wont play great and beat them at full strength...

I actually think we showed heart winning in OT despite blowing it in the 4th quarter.

It’s a huge confidence builder no doubt. Our squad got NERVOUS at the end of regulation but played a very methodical OT and won.

If our bench had showed up at all tonight (outside of Delon), Lowry and dem woulda been icing their knees for half of the fourth quarter.

As much as I wanted to see them put the hammer down all game with Steph and Dray out, I sort of preferred watching them gut it out in the end.

This is going to happen all finals long with GSW. Ball in KD's hands at the end (for the most part) and KL2 on the flip side. Gotta grind it out.

Needed Korver though :mjcry:

really, all the raps needed was for VanVleet to actually do anything. He was a no show on offense this game. if he does ANYTHING, or if OG didn't miss three straight 3's in a row. the game would have been different at the end.

regardless, I agree this kind of win was great for them. these are the types of game sthe raps typically lose. the culture around the team is changing. Nurse is doing a great job. and the addition of Kawai and green coming from a winning culture has been very positive.

I guarantee with DeRozan we lose that game in OT....

Guys, its clear this roster isnt perfect, and there are glaring holes in our game

Yes we're sitting at an .830 winning percentage, with a quarter of the season done, and clearly Kawhi is not 100% and neither are we at full health

but we need to remedy these issues

Im good with dealing any one of Delon, FVV or CJ if we can shore up our rebounding without sacrificing speed and spacing

Defensive rebounding was fuggin disgraceful last night.....and i think our lack of a dead eye marksman shows.Danny is nice but hes the only guy down the stretch that can make them consistently...All the missed 3s almost contributed to us blowing the game...Lowry missed a few late,Anunoby was terrible from 3,we should have been more of a player for Korver...

not securing the rebounds hurt my soul. gave the warriors like 4 chances one time, you can't give them that

We gave up 17 offensive rebounds, and its not like they just got in the paint and bullied us,most were loose balls off the rim bouncing out that we watched...or tapped thru our fingers and gave to them...

I told yall earlier in the season that you guys are built comparably to my Rockets team last year, and yall saw how close we were.

You guys are gonna reach a level of talent and confidence where you're no longer worried about what the Warriors do (or what anyone else says), only thing you'll fear is unforced turnovers, botched rebounds, and getting lost on screens/switches. Basically a lack of self-discipline; and GS's greatest ability is capitalizing on that shyt lol. I mean, yall witnessed it first hand last night in the 4th.

That's how every game of the WCFs felt to us. "Run your offense. Run your defense. Don't fukk up!" :damn:
