What could Booth have done? Brown got an offer they couldn’t match due to it being more than the MLE.

They’re in the luxury tax and they have cheap owners. Plus the new CBA is punitive.
I think the main issue Booth wanted to use the draft to keep their window open, but unfortunately Braun has been the only pick to do well. Pickett is finally showing signs, but Strawther and Watson hadn’t developed like they hoped. I know Malone and Booth butted heads after losing last season, so maybe the Kroenkes said enough.

Booth should have been fired for that Nnaji deal and Malone should have been fired for not even trying to play him and increase his value. Not to mention the fact that years later and they still didn't bother trying to get a backup big behind Jokic.
yep. everyone focuses on porter but the little stuff like that deal is what cripples a teams options

and nuggets fans have been calling for malone's head for years
