Just read the article. damn Rwanda went full english, I heard they sent entire classes to western countries like spies to obtain university level education and go back home, in return their country compensated them with HUGE brand new homes (clever tactic to have a high return rate). Someone posted a video of their capital a few days ago, man they're looking hella good. We got beef with them, but I cant knock their hustle man, their country is nice, it looks alot like Brazil now, and in the next few years it'll be first world status. It helps that they are a very small country so its easy to manage. Congo is just too damn big, its going to take awhile to start fixing the east and north. west is looking good tho, not as good as Rwanda or Botswana or Nigeria but for our size we're doing good.

I was talking to a breh from Congo a few days back, he was telling me he was moving back in a couple weeks. told me there's a shytload of money to be made

1000% truth. When I was in Ethiopia they knew a lot of the basic shyt even the most uneducated ones. I guess as long as the native tongue is protected then it's not a bad thing for English to be a universal language. I guess the Brits won the colonial contest. :skip:
It wasnt them...it was us. Now I give them Brits props. They had great work ethics compared to the spanish, french and portuguese. The spanish and portuguese were the first, but they werent really all that, they were just using the navigational lessons taught to them by the moors, they were just 'testing', but they're from hot climate, so they're lazy and unorganized, once the moors were gone, they fell apart :pachaha: When you have great weather you really dont leave, you'd rather chill and enjoy the beach. whereas the brits are very very detailed, they LOVE leaving their shytty weather for other more sunny lands. with their work ethics they connected the globe and worked diligent on those trade routes and built a massive navy and had thousands of ships......but it was america that made english global, because we brought the globe to us and they learned our language, some went back for business, and the rest was history.

Honestly man, people wanna hate on english but its a legit language, I cant think of any language that continues to grow like english. we literally have new words annually and its a very very articulate expressive language, there are 7 different words to say the same thing, therers a reason for that, its to express in fine detail. A lot of languages fall short of that. I mean french is almost there, spanish is almost there, but its not quite as complex as english imo you can look up vagrant and under that, you see 5 other words with the same meaning that can be used based on the subject and the way you've structured the sentence, I mean that is fukking impressive. I dont know much about german, danish and those northern languages, but english is very detailed as far as you can really convey what you're trying to express to the listener. I think english left those languages in the dust when we realized that if you continue to create words and combine words to make new words, we'd have a lasting language.

Thats something chinese lacks, it lacks the structural grammar. My dialect is the same way, we have to borrow french words for certain things.

The bolded of your post just popped in my mind for some reason lol, what do you think we can do for the future?

Our languages need their own scripts and we need to continue translating the most important pieces of literature the world has to offer into our indigenous African languages especially the most popular ones: Hausa, Yoruba, Amharic, Oromo, Igbo, Zulu, KiSwahili, Mande, Twi,etc. (all with speakers numbering the tens of millions)

I'm glad the Amharic Ethiopians have their own script. It must be powerful to see that on buildings and landmarks, etc. @2Quik4UHoes

Projects like the Nsibidi wikia project are very encouraging to see. I'm going to monitor it's progress. If they can start getting young Igbos to write in it, it could be powerful...but that might need government mandating. I hope the project gets serious funding so they can expand their efforts.

hahaha I been to Brussel, they're actually nice people. When we tell them we're congolese they be like :to:, and we get special treatment. They really feel bad about the past, because belgian people are actually kind. They're not a military powerhouse country like britain or germany. They blame all that shyt on the king, apparently their govt and common person had no idea the shyt was even going on. but who knows. :manny:

eat fries while you're out there, but make sure they dont put mayonnaise in your shyt. :badtaste:

also eat the waffles...thank me later. :noah2:

Oh naw, what bout the Congolese child they had in the zoo. They knew what happened. :birdman:

Bleh mayo on fries, reminds me of Pulp Fiction. One of my aunts a fool tho, on one of her many tours of Europe she went to Belgium literally just to try the waffles. Told me it was well worth it. :ehh:

So fries, chocolate(had it already but the shyt is FIYA), and waffles are on my agenda. If I stay long enough I'd try to get my pawg on just to partake in payback sex. Blow her back out and just nut on her face and walk out in utter disgust. :birdman:
