Awful idea.Kind of a halfbaked idea and this would never happen... but make him a militant Killmonger-type and bill him from (relocated back to) Ghana as a heel. He could get the belt like that
They rather push another Indian that isn’t really over versus kofi who has never been hurt and been top five in merchandise and been over for over a decade

Got these c00ns talking about his current push was meant for mustafa Ali and how wwe probably should go with orton, Samoa Joe, etc for a mania feud which is telling because kofi and new day are more over than them and majority of the roster. New day has been top five merch sales for years
If kofi was the son of a wrestler or Samoan/Indian/Japanese he’d have been had 4 title reigns regardless of him being good in the ring or over

They didn't even build up Jinder tho. He went from nearly murdering Finn Balor on Raw in his last match to winning the #1 contender match a few weeks later on Smackdown.

WWE apparently had big things planned for Mustafa Ali in the Gauntlet Match on this week's Elimination Chamber go-home edition of SmackDown.
As noted, Ali was pulled from the Gauntlet match and from Sunday's WWE Title Elimination Chamber match due to a concussion. His spot was given to Kofi Kingston and Kofi ended up putting on a strong performance in the Gauntlet, going more than an hour. @Wrestlevotes reports that the story that unfolded with Kofi in the Gauntlet was the same story that was to unfold with Ali.
It will be interesting to see what this means for Kofi in Sunday's Chamber match for the WWE Title. As noted, Kofi was praised by many fans and wrestlers on social media after the Gauntlet. The @Wrestlevotes report also noted that due to Tuesday's performance, Kofi has momentum with people backstage in the company, not just with fans.

Piper, Perfect, and Rude can be blamed on that era. In an era where Klandy Orton and Edge had a combine 20+ world title reigns, there's no excuse for more black champs in WWE.Roddy Piper, Mr. Perfect never got the WWE Title yet they will be remembered forever. Not everyone will get that title.
