As has already been said, who is "they"? Someone at the new york times writes an opinion piece and that is now "cancel culture"?
We need less bytching about "cancel culture" (and I think it's time to cancel that stupid phrase) and more intellectual discussion as to why something is wrong if you disagree. If you think the cartoon is NOT rapey, or is rape-ish but ok to show to children because it was made in a different era and children can handle it, or want to make a dumbass slippery slope argument, then just do that.
All this "here they go again canceling X" bullshyt is lazy and obfuscation
Supposedly "black" posters will call you a soft liberal if you have a problem with the racist imagery in all those old ass cartoons.so I can’t blame them for making racist depictions of black folk since it was another era?
AmeriKKKan cartoons was WILDIN!!!Supposedly "black" posters will call you a soft liberal if you have a problem with the racist imagery in all those old ass cartoons.
You're a p*ssy if any of this offends you according to a bunch of "black" posters on this site.
Calm down breh, it was a different era
No to the first question. But if I had been single and they were respectful then - regardless of whether they were highly attractive or average looking - it would have been a different story. I've always given respect and expected it back in return. Nobody should feel free and comfortable just touching or grabbing another person they don't know. And this is just my personal opinion...but I've found that many really attractive men just feel entitled to reach out and touch women. And they are the main ones who are then rude to you and call you names when you tell them you don't like that. You'll then be called all kinds of bytch and ho, etcetera smh.
It's sad and I would hope they'd see a woman as a person and not an object and act respectfully in the same manner they would expect their sister or mother or best female friend to be treated.
My little bro got in trouble for kissing up and down girls arms the first day of kindergarten
It was one of the first fights I remember my parents getting into. Pops thought it was hilarious, mom not so much
