Team played great the last 5 games. I wish we can bring that plus add on talent with draft picks.

But that's too risky. These nikkas might start off slow again and it's wash, rinse, repeat.

Hopefully they learned a valuable lesson from that slow start habit and break it at the start of the '25 season. Inexcusable for them to miss the POs like they did. That 5 game winning streak team was the real bengals.

ROSTER CUTS

DT Sheldon Rankins was released after one season with the team. Rankins, a 2016 first-round pick of the Saints, played in seven games last season, all starts, before ending the year on the non-football injury list. Rankins, who signed a two-year, $24.5 million deal last offseason, will save the Bengals $9.6 million against the salary cap with his release.


He was a noticeable downgrade from Reader.
