I’d give it an average, writing isn’t as strong and they don’t have as compelling storylines.

Better step their game up before they are on DC status.

They don’t seem to understand the writing has to be even better with those lesser known characters.

Black widow, Ms Marvel, Hawkeye, Moon Knoght and the Eternals really dragged the entire fkn phase down to 3 mics. Axe those and rework Multiverse of Madness to make Wanda not be a villain because her pretend kids didn’t exist….and it’s a pretty solid 4.

Ad actual universe building scenes to the post credits to give you 30 total minutes of content on wtf Kang is up to and you have a solid foundation on the infinity saga 2.0 but for whatever reason this new MCU phase refuses to give us piff after credit scenes
Some movies don’t even have shyt after the credits (bp 2 gets a pass since it’s a tribute ending to our king).

It was trash.

The bigger problem is that it's becoming clearer that Marvel has run of out story and as a result are now recycling the same stories in back to back movies.

How do you release three movies in a row with a child/teenager being the mcguffin and cause of the entire movies plot?


And I'm hearing they're doing it AGAIN in the next movie which is Ant Man.


That's why the movies just came and went. Like when a new burger comes out for a few weeks.

the only movies I liked of phase 4 was shang chi, spider man, and dr. strange.

the only tv shows I liked were winter soldier, what if and she-hulk.

Spider-Man and Loki were the only two that felt legitimately good. Maybe Doctor Strange. The whole phase felt cheap besides that. I still need to see BP but that movie had so many things outside of its control go wrong you kind of have to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Phase 4 was supposed to be the universe branching out and reaping the benefits of adding all of Marvel's who's who to the universe. But both the branching out and the universe expansion has made for little more than fanservice cameos. Which are cool when done well like Spiderman NWH or Dr. Strange 2. But its usually just lame "look _____ is here! " (with ____ usually being Wong) cameos like that Quicksilver bullshyt in Wandavision or DareDevil in She-Hulk. Also many of these movies/series feel like inconsequential one offs

However everything seems to be set up for some more exciting storylines going forward so im not too hard on em
