The sooner Lashley takes the gold off of manbun, the sooner we can get entrances with pawgs, paags, and black queens
reddit cacs love to hate on his run because it came out of nowhere and was obviously to pander to india, but between look, mannerisms, presentation, everything...easily one of the best heel championship wins of the decade.
while I liked that they stayed true to themselves, i feel like the new day could have and should have used their two world title runs to evolve as characters. They aren't CRAZY STALE but even look at the Uso's slow progression in the years. The New Day had singles gold and could have switched it up in some way.I feel like this era of giving guys gold watch runs really shows, even if it's all a work why anyone can't be champion
We like him, he works hard, he's been here for so long...
The belt just didn't fit. Literally and figuratively...

There are gay guys who actually have hands, so I could maybe kinda sorta possibly see Sonny Kiss being a champion in a supposed combat sport, but Darby???
Ehhh feel like there’s some revisionist history going on. Jinder was presented amazingly from his entrance to his promos for like 3-4 weeks, then they stopped doing everything that made him appealing and turned him to a generic foreign heel. He cut the same promo for like 6 months. And none of that even includes the flat out bad and boring matches he was having. His promos initially reminded me of Muhammad Hassan, where, he was making good points and you understood where he was coming from, then it’s like the WWE realized that was told him to be a generic anti-American guy.The run wasn’t as bad as people make it out to be, it just shouldn’t have lasted after SummerSlam
it was the terrible Nakamura fued. Orton low key made Jinder, but they didn't capitalize on the momentum. They should've had another babyface to feed to him and then have him drop the belt to Styles later than he did.The run wasn’t as bad as people make it out to be, it just shouldn’t have lasted after SummerSlam

i actually think that was all good, and he looked like a sneaky badass coming out of even the orton fued.I think the main highlight of Jinder's run was the Orton feud because of the following:
Beyond that, it was the troll game that felt so satisfying
- Orton gave no fukks
- The constant fukkery
- The return of the punjabi prison match
- Khali coming out of nowhere
Dude legit could've been another star for them if they kept that same energy from the beginning of his push. After losing the title at Summerslam, they could've slowly buillt to a face turn with him ditching the Singh bros and starting to win on his own. They fukked up the whole India bag trying to build around a heel champion that needed two little dudes to win matches .....They went to India in November. If he lost the title at Summerslam, they had enough time to turn him face by then and actually have him go there as a real hero for his people. That would've been to easy for them thoughEhhh feel like there’s some revisionist history going on.
