People will probably forget once the trailer drops
One of them was always going to move. However if the dates were kept, a Captain America movie coming off The Avengers 2 would have taken a massive chunk out of Batman vs Superman's gross. Just look at how Iron Man 3 exploded last year.

Marvel is on a spectacular winning streak right now. Look at them Guardians Of The Galaxy numbers
. Plus this isn't some Nas Vs. Jay-Z rap beef bullshyt where the studios want to "battle". Both WB and Marvel/Disney want to make as much $$$$ as possible and dropping those movies on the same day fukks with the profits.

It's not as far fetched as people are making it seem.
"The Winter Soldier" did more than "Man Of Steel", and only $300 mill less than "The Dark Knight Rises".
If "Cap 3" does anywhere near as much as "SvB", let alone more, DC needs to rethink their entire schedule because it's essentially a B to C tier Marvel character vs the two biggest characters DC has.
This needs to be a blow out, in favor of DC.

Off names alone you'd think DC would have forced Marvel to lean back, instead it was the other way around. I assume Batman vs Superman will gross more but I still think Capt. 3 will likely be the better movie.

It's hardly out of the realm of possibility. Everyone thought that The Dark Knight Rises would make more than The Avengers in 2012 but it didn't. In 2013 Iron Man 3 became 5th highest grossing movie of all time
. What Captain America 3 has going for it is that it's coming directly off The Avengers 2.

I knew somebody's date was going to get changed. In all honestly if they dropped the same day they would be hurting each others numbers. Sure there may be some die hard fans that will see both the same day but not the average person.
