If anything, those tweets explain how a group of TV writers can be so fukking moronic week in and week out when it comes to wrestling. When you add that kind "but it makes sense for the character" mentality that disregards context and much needed progression for others to Cokeboy's "change of plans" mentality, it's no wonder WWE can't book anything worth a damn unless they just stumble upon it (like Braun).
And Max is fukking retarded. If Cercei was still being the c*nt that she is and a key character in BOOK 35 of ASOIAF, people would be losing their shyt and legit trying to kill GRR Martin. Dude, you should've seen him talking about his plan to have Braun come out during a cruiserweight match, kill the participants, then have those same cruisers come back the next week and fight Braun off. He was selling it as some mindblowing, world-building idea to show that all the wrestlers actually exist in the same universe and can interact with one another at any time.
Yeah, that's a good idea in the abstract (as is his Tweet thread on Hunter), but I don't really think he considers how his ideas serve the Wrestling-specific end game of getting guys over and building stars for the future. There are other ways to do this that doesn't create a wasteland of stop-start, 50-50 booking.
