This should have been done at the deadline.
There were all the reports about the Raptors being sellers at the deadline but instead they ended up with Poetll and tried to compete. Sadly they have a good team build up but no actual superstar to make them contenders so I agree they really should have blown it up. Cause even if they made the actual playoffs you can only go so far without an actual star. I know some view Siakam that way but he's a tier below IMO.

Poole on a near max deal ain’t that. Kuminga’s more likely to be that than Poole even though something has to give with him, OG and Barnes. Poole is a real costly replacement for Van Vleet. The main positive (for any PG on the market) is that their values will be much higher given that the next 2-3 draft classes are weak as hell at that position.

I don't know if that would be enough, but that's something they definitely need to do.

I'd imagine if they're trying to land someone like Pascal, Poole would need to be a part of the equation.
So Poole/Minga picks for Pascal… moving Poole would allow is to keep Donte and he can be Steph’s backup?
