I got Nuggets winning in 7. Wolves got the bodies to bother the Joker but I think their experience wins out.

Not super impressed by the Wolves sweeping the Suns, they've been a fukking mess all season

If we're going to be honest, neither teams the Wolves or Nuggets played in the 1st round gave us any barometer on where they are at

- The Suns were a mess all season, and one of the all time worsts trades ever in Bradley Beal, and no point guard
- The Lakers had a 39 year old Lebron still playing decent and AD playing great, but they are a play-in team with no bench

This is what makes this matchup very intriguing

I get your point and agree, but I still feel like people may be underrating the Lakers a bit. They led Denver in the series by like a roughly 70/30 split percentage wise and that shouldn't be left out imo. To me that's more on Denver having their number, but I didn't see any other big threat out there for them out west.

Lakers would have ran into the same problem with another team, not just Denver. They were leading comfortably against the Pelicans then ran out of gas the same exact way as with the Nuggets. Lakers were literally on the ropes in the 4th quarter against the Pelicans and were saved by Zion's injury. They are too top heavy. The drop off between their 4th best player and everyone else is crazy

I feel Rudy Gobert on the defensive end will be the matchup that can potentially give Jokic problems. It would be similar to Dwight Howard on the Lakers in the bubble defending Jokic. He was able to defend Jokic pretty well, and keep him off the boards. If Gobert can replicate that, the Wolves can win this

Nuggets beat the Lakers primarily off of rebounding IMO

Good point, what should help Rudy also is having actual perimeter defenders with him so he doesn't have to man the paint, recover on his man, while masking his teammates deficiencies. And he defended Jokic pretty well last year to your point, should be fun.

Heavyweight throwback battle. Went with the defending champs in 6 but won't be too surprised if it's Minnesota this time either. Winner of this I feel like gonna win it all

T'Wolves will be much better comp vs Nuggets than the Lakers were but the Nuggets got this in 6.

Leaning towards the Wolves tbh.

They don't have championship experience but you don't necessarily need that to beat a championship team. See OKC beating the Mavs in 2012. Wolves have enough experience in relevant areas: Conley, Gobert, and Slow-Mo, and the rest of them like Ant and KAT have experience dealing directly with Denver.

Wolves in 6 or Nuggets in 7. I think they split the first 2 games in Denver.
