I didn't watch G3 to be transparent, but that was their philosophy with G1-G2 no? G2 he had the team high in points and was the worst player on the roster in +/-
To me, Twolves win when the non-Gordon and Jokic guys aren't scoring and there's not that many team assists. They want the ball to stick with Gordon and they want Jokic to have to be a shot taker
That was a real deal ass kicking by the champs. Showed they got some heart left. But almost glad this happened to the Wolves. Been getting their dikk sucked for 3 weeks, all the MJ comparisons and saying Nuggets are dead were just foolish. Denver is a great team and wasn't gonna lay down. So now the Wolves face some adversity for the first time in the playoffs but they still got home court advantage if they can win tomorrow.
But this should be a good wakeup call. Denver got it game 2, Wolves got it game 3 now I'd expect close games the rest of the series. Wolves are gonna have to win a game in crunch time which is where the Nuggets excel. I don't expect Aaron Gordon to shoot that well again while Murray made real tough shots and Wolves missed a lot of their bunnies in the first half. Nuggets got some momentum back but Wolves become the media darling again if they can bounce back next game.

Twolves mightve blown the series last night. When this team had expectations to win they folded like a cheap tent.
That was in the first quarter last game. This game Aaron Gordon went for like 3/4 straight when they needed stops. He was wide open on everything. Even midrange. Rudy didn’t even bother putting a hand up. Last game they made him put the ball on the floor. Without Rudy they doubled Jokic and forced him to got rid of it. This game they didn’t.
I’ll say too the offense this game for some reason Ant and Kat were less featured. If Kat only shooting 7 times and Ant shoots only 15 times they will lose this series. Conley had the ball in his hands way more this time and all it led to were pick and rolls with him and Rudy Gobert. The Nuggets will live with that any day.

I'd def agree with the offensive part of things being better when Gobert is out but that's always been the case. They just gotta live with that tradeoff for the defensive side of things.
That being said, if you could get the level of defense Towns played on Jokic in G2 more often...you may be able to run that lineup a lil bit more

These are the plays are where their attempted comeback got shut down. When you’re trying to make a run you can’t leave guys wide open like this. Yes these are the guys that you would want to shoot these shots but he is too wide open it’s a practice shot.
But I think Kat will play better. He’s done a decent job on Jokic. But Naz Reid has to be more consistent. He hasn’t been this whole playoffs.
