People actually still think Dodgers are a real team cuz stupid ass ESPN puts them as one of the top 2 teams year in and out when the fizzle out in the post season. 2020 ain't real so stop using that as a means to Prop them up, they are choke artists

Man if the Dodgers choke yet again and there's no outrage in LA over the fact yet again.. then f*ck it. LA is a Laker-Clipper town. I didn't say sh*t the last two years. Bill Plaschke is going to write three straight articles in the LA Times like he did last year after they choked to try to get the city angry and pissed at the Dodgers and in the end -nothing but crickets. Everybody just says, "Oh well" and jumps into basketball season. Dodgers are just a hell of a brand with an iconic stadium and uniforms. Outside of some Mexicans that live in die with the team, its whatever with them, 100 win seasons and all. We gonna redo the "LA sports tiers" if these dudes don't turn it around and get back into this series.

I wonder how much the Paul Sewald trade changed the course of the postseason. M's missed the playoffs by a game and the D'Backs made it by a game. Now, they're one win away from the NLCS.

That was a fairly under the radar move because of the teams involved but it's looking like a pretty big deal now.
I said it was huge when the trade was made, I can count 5 games the Mariners lost right after because they couldn’t close.

It's baseball and it's hard as hell to win a World Series as it is.

The team was flawed as hell coming into the season and with how the starting pitching shook out this year, this shouldn't be a surprising result.

I felt like this was more like an 85 win team than a 100 win team

Bellinger and Buehler were the missing pieces and not being able to hide Peyton Kershaw :mjlol:

Man the Braves were pretty much dead. Staring down 0-2 with unfavorable pitching matchups all over

That feels like one of those games that you’re gonna look back on when the Braves win it all

While true, I would say it's worth noting they faced weaker opponents than what's gotten through this season and both series were REALLY tight.

Houston swept, but had a walk-off in game one and won 1-0 in 18 innings in game three. Their offense was out of sorts besides Yordan all series.

NY went five against an anemic Cleveland offense.

The baseball playoffs are inherently unpredictable no matter what. People are acting like upsets are a new thing

It’s a small sample size in a sport that is very random to begin with especially with a small sample size

There is no way to change that outside of making series the best out of 10 or some sh1t

Bellinger was horrible his last few years as a Dodger - I doubt he would have made a difference these last two games being down 6-0 and 3-0 before even picking up a bat.

Losing Buelher, May, Urias and Gonsolin were huge blows to the rotation. Kershaw is probably going to have shoulder surgery after the season ends. Relying on rookie pitchers to perform well in the playoffs is wishful thinking.

It's a miracle that this team even won 100 games.

It just sucks to make the playoffs each year just to flame out early. Last year the offense took a shyt, this year the pitching went to hell.

Anyways, it's baseball. Two bad games just ended the year. Two games like this in April/May/June no one bats an eye.
