Twins ain't getting swept :unimpressed:

I'm a homer but Verlander the only starter I'm scared of. Framber was Shakey the last two months outside the no hitter and maybe one other start. I like the twins bullpen more. That Astros lineup is a beast though and once the twins get to Joe Ryan/Over or Maeda for starts it could get spooky. I'm hoping a split thr first 4 and see what happens in a game 5.

Yeah ima stros fan but I don’t think we’re sweeping Minnesota and it wouldn’t surprise me if we lost all together. This ain’t the same stros as the previous 5 years. Offense goes through heavy droughts and the pitching been spotty all season. Maybe these days off gave them time to refocus and lock in, but I see it going 5.

My same sentiments. This series is easily loseable for the Astros, we aren’t the same world ravager team we see every year due to 2 big arms missing and Brantley being just so so.

We also are terrible at home :beli:

We have had Maedas number since he was with LA, his slider isn’t effective against our hitters, they see that pitch really well from him for some weird reason.

Crazy that at the WC round produced all sweeps.

Having a week off to rest is a real disadvantage for the higher seeded team. Momentum and timing is so critical in a short series.

It's too damn hard to predict these series, all I hope is that we get another Dodgers/Braves NLCS.

I know this isn't the strongest Dodgers team but they shouldn't lose to Arizona.

Philly is a tough matchup but Atlanta has to win that series, even if Wheeler and Nola are dealing. I just can't fathom that Braves lineup losing in the NLDS with Strider and Fried.

Houston's a no-brainer over Minnesota.

I still don't know how Baltimore won 101 games. Their lineup isn't that scary and their rotation is weak. I like Texas in that series.

I actually think the Twins can beat Houston. They have the edge in terms of pitching.

I agree with you. They need to bump the DS up to seven games.

These sweeps also mean the WC teams can have their aces ready by game two when they are supposed to be at a disadvantage.
