Wonder how aggressive Houston will be this winter. Altuve and Bregman are only signed through next season; Verlander is kinda signed through 2025 but if he doesn't hit 140 innings next season, I think the team can opt out of that final year.

They would be an interesting team for Trout. I don't think Houston has a lot left in the farm but with Trout's contract, Anaheim couldn't be asking for the world. Definitely need another starting pitcher too.

They need a LF/DH, depth and a lot of fixing on the staff. I'm willing to write off Javier and Valdez as just having a weird year and can bounce back, so their top 4 is legit. The rest of the depth is in question though.

Trout would fill that. Can they dump Abreu on anybody? Is Gerrit Cole gonna opt out? That'd be a helluva reunion.
