No, they're just trying to make extra money. It's not "double checking" when I can't even finish saying what item I want before them asking about cheese.

Thry want to sell you on that extra 40-50 cents for cheese.

There's a reason it's a SEPARATE option. Not everyone likes cheese all the time

You can order a hamburger or a CHEESEburger

You really think nikkas making damn near minimum wage are concerned about upselling you 40 cents..... :mjlol:

You think fast food workers get paid off you ordering cheese? :mjlol:

And as far as I know if you say no cheese its still the same price :dwillhuh:

They don't get paid but if it's like was when I worked selling that cheese helps with profits and managers get bonuses if you hit your numbers for the month. All the profit in these places is selling your soda and extra condiments like cheese and bacon. Or upsizing your meal. I would pull in like an extra $500 a month for meeting food cost and another couple hundred for meeting labor cost.

They just making sure they don’t fukk your order up as that’s not a common request at burger spots

My guy, it's on the menu.

There's hamburgers....and then there's separately CHEESEburgers.

Why is this hard for ppl on here?

Because it's hard for customers in real life who complain and make scenes, so they ask you again to confirm your order.

When I was 14 and someone was rude at the speaker and asked for something like no pickles or no mustard they got the biggest amount of pickles possible while still being able to wrap the burger up. We’d make bets on whether they would stop the car halfway out the drive thru and come storming in. You’d have the whole pack of cheese on your joint in my drive thru

At least you don’t have to worry about the random pork and red meat businesses put in non pork and red meat items.

“No, I don’t want a bacon chicken sandwich :mjpls:.” I shouldn’t have to ask for no bacon, bacon should be an add on for a chicken sandwich (or any sandwich for that matter):mjpls:.

“Are your collard greens vegetarian :mjpls:?”

“Do you use pork casing :mjpls:
