Notes from Trump's meeting with CEOs, wants to lower corporate tax rate from 21-20% because it's a round number, replace income tax with tariff

They got to do it with the ghost of Reagan in his late years so if it was good for their goose asses it is good for the gander.

NOT fukking shyt up at this point is better than fukking shyt up and being cheered on while you do it. And its not like Biden has completely trash

policies, he just has a trash congress. Letting him corpse for another 4 years is absolutely fine as the President has advisors for a reason.
trump is a huge fakkit, and im voting for biden

im also not gonna embarrass myself and pretend that biden is fit to do this until 2029. he isn't. and if kamala has to step in, she's gonna get destroyed in 2028. which sucks, because the dems will have a solid bench that year

but hey, one election at a time :skip:

Your last comment, from what I now see, isn't quite true. Un-fukking-fortunately, life does play out like He-Man and Skeletor. Even if you identify who is worse, he keeps coming back. I can vote in Biden this cycle to blunt Trump, but there has to be real candidates going forward. Obviously on the local level things can be far more interesting, but nationally, a true "for the people" candidate can set the table for real change but the amount of money it takes to get to the Presidency now means anybody going for the top seat has to be plugged in.

I would rather sit someone in who doesn't fukk things up while pushing for campaign finance reform candidates. Until Citizens United falls, literally everything else is compromised. It sucks but thats the big sticking point now and getting mad at individual candidates doesn't fix the issue. The media loves horse races and the monied horses control our government. They have to return favors to big business and billionaires. shyt sucks. We vote today to plan for tomorrows vote.

josh shapiro, wes moore, and gretchen whitmer could all be strong in 2028. and who knows who else emerges

if kamala takes over for biden in like 2027, i honestly hope she puts the party first, and just doesnt go for it in '28. it would be as easy as saying "i'm going to serve out the biden/harris term, and let the voters decide our nominee in a primary"

making a magnanimous move like that would honestly be far better for her legacy than running in '28 and losing. i dont have anything against her, i just truly see zero scenario where she wins a general

It’s crazy cause Pence was there but Trump and them :camby: him out of here with the quickness. I know people were “scared” of Pence(fun times) but all the so called scary candidates from the Republican side were ram tf off. I don’t know who got next for either party because people keep running everybody off, then get mad because we have Biden vs Trump. We’ll get your asses out there like these old people do and get the people you want in the office.

Honestly people have to start looking at their cabinet members or potential ones. Those are the people making the actual rules and guidelines for all these departments that affect us

Picking between 2 old ass mafukkaz with clear signs of dementia. So who's really pulling the strings?
That is the question that gets ignored too much. There are people who set the tone and candidates for elections who remain nameless.
