Just realized I didn't receive my pre-order bonus from Samsung and I pre-ordered on the 31st of August

so how do I go about retrieving my damn bonuses

DL Shop Samsung app..it basically fills in all yiur sgut except your address and name/Phone number..do it on your phone. Easy. Still havent taken the 360 camera out the box..dont know if i should keep it or just sell it.

I'm at 3 and a half hours ..fully charged 13 hours ago. 26 percent left.
Best battery life is highly dependent on if your phone is on Wi-Fi most the time or not

I see people talk about getting 5 hours of screen on time. I can get about 4 and it's a struggle to make it to 4. I don't turn anything off so location services, Bluetooth, and WiFi are on all day and I have the auto brightness on. I also leave on the Always on Display with the default theme so it shows those stars. I use 1080p instead of 1440p.

I'm not gonna say the battery is trash. It's average. I can make it a day on a single charge and when I get home at the end of the day it's somewhere around 20-15%.

I think with more conservative use and babying of the phone a day and a half on a single charge is possible but I'm a heavier user.

The note 8 battery...I charged it almost 13 hours ago. Still at 14 %. I'm a power user. U lower the screen brightness on this thing and it stays official and lasts big time. Until yesterday..I was using High performance and 85 percent screen brightness which cut that time big time. But without doing that? The battery life is hilarious and long lasting. #Note8Gang

The battery isn’t long lasting unless you turn stuff on and off as you need it and try to conserve battery life. If you just use the phone and forget all that stuff you’ll barely make it through a day with normal use and a power user is likely not going to get a full day on a single charge.

It’s nowhere near the old Note phones that were known for excellent battery life. It’s not even like the iPhone 7 Plus where it last longer than an iPhone 7 being the bigger phone.

Going from the S8 to the Note8 my battery life is on par most days and some days worse. That’s a regular S8 not the larger model.

Turning the brightness as low as possible and turning off auto brightness has drastically increased the battery life.

90% charge left with an hour and 6 mins of screen on time. It sucks because I like my brightness higher but it nails the battery.

That's not entirely a good thing. That means when you go outside you have to turn the brightness up yourself then turn it back down. Low brightness is fine indoors but outside it makes it very hard to see.
