Wolverine scene when Scott and co were trynna rescue the squad. Yes the Batman scene was dope.... bu bu bu bu bu but people are always so blood thirsty and always want the extra bit.

Batman did defeat and KNOCKOUT his fodder in a nice fashion, but Wolverine was straight up MASS MURDERING. It was much darker, more epic, most definitely more bloody, and more vicious. I mean GOTDAMN shyt borderline turned into a horror flick the way he left them dudes.

I thought Apocalypse was menacing enough... I mean he did catch few bodies in impressive fashion. Yea, it didnt look like he cost him any sweat in doing it, but thats attributed to how strong this guy was where when he could literally effortlessly lift his pinky finger and kill 3 people at once. Him being so powerful made it seem underwhelming.

Unless you're saying and you think the whole plot of Stryker kidnapping the Xmen and taking them to his base to interrogate them on the whereabouts of Charles since the source of the blast came from HIS school seem like it was out the blue and an unnecessary plot and they could've got to their endgame without it or even a school explosion. I felt that scene absolutely made since and fit well into the story and wasnt forced.

Wasnt even complicated, the kids broke into the base, found a room with Logan and unleashed him.

Didnt feel awkward as say, out the blue in a scene thats means nothing to nothing a character awkwardly sits at her kitchen table and watches these weird 20 sec vine trailers of these other characters that have no real rhyme or reason

Don't disagree, but that's not really a point in Apocalypse's favor.

Both were movies i was disappointed in, but BVS was a much larger disappointment since the X-men flicks have never made me really care about them, aside from First Class.
I've got too many DC trade paperbacks from my younger years with Batman and Superman to have not wanted BVS to be a home run.
And it wasn't.

I guess what i'm saying is that i expected X-men to let me down, as i've been let down by the other 6 films in the franchise, but BVS was supposed to turn it around for DC. I wanted that to happen.
Fox seems to be satisfied with X-men currently, so i expect my melancholy to continue for the indefinite future.

Flaws to X-men: The whole Magneto goes bad is a retread of past flicks. More mutants to cameo, but not really develop(looking at you Storm, Psylocke and Angel.)
Mystique is an X-men leader now, no actual association with her comic self aside from the name and ability. Bad cgi, no pizzaz to the fight scenes. Nothing built up, it was just a rush to the finish.

Flaws to BVS: Self important pretention, silly slow motion shots, Superman has less dialogue than Alfred, Batman's butler. Who title conflict could've been resolved with a simple conversation, rather than the world's most idealistic superhero giving into blackmail. Editing was a mess, pacing was terrible.

Neither movie was good imo, but Apocalypse was more X-flick mediocrity, so my body was ready.
