Not trynna start a war, I know its been peaceful in here since May 17th and buildings were crushed and distinctive competition was SOUNDLY and OVERWHELMINGLY defeated

But hear me out.

I saw the stream like a few weeks back.

Then last night was out with a shorty who wanted to see it so I was like "why not"

The movie was solid, pace was really good.

The "rescue scene" (dont wanna spoil it) action wise was better than any scene in BvS.

Everything just felt right about it even though I hated some of the characters (still not sold on the Stark chick playing Jean ... Shout out to my #Ramsayset fam)

Apocalypse was a decent villain but better than Lex and that monster portraying Doomsday combined from BvS.

Irony is, this movie "out DARKED" the movie/franchises that love to brag about how DARK they are to shyt on other movies

I'd say this was probably the 2nd or best Comic book movie of the 4 we got so far this year.

I disagree...while the Quicksilver scene was cool I would take both the Batman rescuing Ma Kent and the fight with Doomsday over it.
Also, and I know mileage varies here, I was down for the story Snyder wanted to tell and at the end of the day it was a focused narrative whether you liked it or not. With X-Men it was like Singer was just tossing things at the wall that he thought would be cool and really didn't have any real handle on just what he was trying to put forth in this flick.
Plus he made Apocalypse seem about as menacing as Toad.

So why is it the flag barrier on whether a movie was good or not.

I mean you basically delegitimize your whole argument when you do that.

Wolverine scene when Scott and co were trynna rescue the squad. Yes the Batman scene was dope.... bu bu bu bu bu but people are always so blood thirsty and always want the extra bit.

Batman did defeat and KNOCKOUT his fodder in a nice fashion, but Wolverine was straight up MASS MURDERING. It was much darker, more epic, most definitely more bloody, and more vicious. I mean GOTDAMN shyt borderline turned into a horror flick the way he left them dudes.

I thought Apocalypse was menacing enough... I mean he did catch few bodies in impressive fashion. Yea, it didnt look like he cost him any sweat in doing it, but thats attributed to how strong this guy was where when he could literally effortlessly lift his pinky finger and kill 3 people at once. Him being so powerful made it seem underwhelming.
