I agree Schuab was bad but u needed some type of insurance since no one knew how good Carr would be
We need receivers too though. We have none.

If they get the right hc and oc in there they will be fine 54m is a lot to work with

Secondary isn't bad. If they had good wrs then they'd have 2 or 3 wins at least. Raiders are really a coaching staff change and 4 or 5 good signings and a solid draft away from winning 10 games. Resigning terrell brown, hayden getting healthy and maybe draft another db and they are set there.
They're pretty bad bro. Lol. You know how much better Carr's stats could be if he had competent receivers that didn't constantly drop his passes?
I do agree it's not the top of the list but it's close. The Raiders need an entire overhaul at both OL and DL, and help at skill positions. Basically a whole new team.

The point is, it would be better to trade down and pick up more. Our dbs are horrid. Burned on a consistent basis. We can get a good wide receiver in the off season. Maybe we can get megatron

Streater just needs some good coaching. Hell straighten up. He's a good slot option. Only person in the secondary that can be something is hayden and branch. IMO.

The DBS really don't deserve the bad rep they get, if the team could provide any pressure they'd look much better. Terrell brown is a good player and carlos rogers is above average even at his old age. Giving qbs all day to throw and there is bound to be someone getting open. Also the coaches deserve some blame, they need to put the players in the best positions to succeed. It makes no sense why someone has been good for years yet go to the raiders and all of a sudden look bad.
Well we can just not all in one off-season. Raiders probably 2-3 seasons away from being a legit threat. I agree we need to start with other things for though before WR, but that is still an issue.

Oline is solid in pass protection plus carr isn't a moron like his brother and has a quick release. He needs wrs before anything else. He's only been sacked like 7 times or something.

Were sticking with Carr....He's the best QB we had in a loooooonnng ass time. He has the mechanics, poise, makes tough throws, and is highly likable by the players in the lockeroom. Despite how garbage we been all year, he hasn't lost his confidence one bit. A rookie QB with that kind of mental toughness just tells it all. He's been by far the best rookie QB from this draft class....just look at what he's doing without any weapons and shytty coaching. Its amazing
