Samsung's commercials are actually good though.

And it's actually tailored to the "weak" minded individuals who blinding wait and cop an iPhone because well... it's an "iPhone". That's why they're so great.

The tag line, 'The next big thing is already here' sums it up perfectly when talking to Apple stans.

Or they can just hold a solidly built iPhone in one hand, and a plastic Samsung in the other. Then decide that they want quality over specs. The average consumer doesn't care how many gb of RAM or how many cores the CPU has. And they especially don't care about changing the TV with their phone or waving their hands to move pages. Simplicity and build quality. The iPhone wins both.

People who post in The Arcadium and on Engadget and on Gizmodo and on XDA AREN'T the average consumer. nikkas are posting in a fish bowl :heh: confusing reality with the reality of the situation.

Imagine car enthusiasts saying that everyone who buys a Camry is a sheep because Camry's sell well, are quality built, easy to drive, and have ok power.

And lastly, I can't understand for the life of me how the same people who have the preference of "I'll never buy an iPHONE!!!!1!" can be mad about someone never wanting to buy an Android phone.

:patrice:

Your post would make sense if Samsung was actually boasting about how much RAM and how many cores it has in the commercials.

The commercials are well done because they are actually showing people what all those features that you're trying to shyt on actually do. They actually gave the features practicality in the commercial.

And just looking at the fact that an iPhone user made this thread and that there are some iPhone users that have chimed in this thread and said, "Yeah I've been lookin' at my iPhone like... :why:" tells you that the commercials are doing what they're supposed to be doing.

Id say majority of ALL commercials are catered to weak minds.

majority of commercials are some kind of peer pressure to make you believe buying the product will somehow make you look better to others or lead a better life :manny:

dont get me wrong I think the phone is very good and marketing strategy is genius, but this commercial is a great example of bullying you into buying the phone.

Hmm... really? Bullying? Damn.

I think it's far from bullying, because when you think about it, every high end Android device trumps the iPhone in the features department. Yet, the only 1 that is highly recognizable right now is the Galaxy line. That's because they're the only ones who advertise those features and how you would use them in real situations.

I would say it's more of educating the viewer on what the phone can do, and what the competition can't do. I don't see that as bullying. It's bold, but it's effective and a hell of a lot better than the old dumbass Motorola commercials that used to actually list specs out like the casual user gave a fukk about that.
