*L*E*G*A*C*Y*
Done.
So my homie/roommate has been dating this girl. She's writes some sex column and is one of those "internet famous/instagram famous people" or something. I don't know. She's this korean girl from Los angeles kind of acts like some badass cause she smokes weed and she tries to act all "ghetto" and uses the n-word on occasion and she's always talking about race stuff that gets on my nerves. Whenever she hangs out in our apartment she basically pretends I'm invisible, even those she's dating my boy who I've been friends with for 6 years.
Today, basically I was just trying to make some ramen to eat before I went to my job interview in the city and I told her about my frustrations finding a job. And she was like " ofcourse your frustrated, you're a black man in America" (thanks for noticing me! ) and then I told her that I'm Nigerian and West Indian and then she tries to talk about the differences between Black Americans and African/West Indians in America (which is something I'm very aware of but don't care to focus on early in the morning thank you very much) and then she's talking about all this race stuff that I really didn't feel like talking about. I told her to stop. Then she says "Oh, I'm sorry for your struggle on behalf of society" which just rubbed me the wrong way. I told her straight up "listen, I don't want or need your apology because there's NOTHING wrong with me and I'm not an object of pity and I find it condescending". "She basically tries to cop pleas and take back what she said under the pretense of "I know I got it better than you...but". To which I reiterated what I said.
Now I'm in a bad mood....I'm sick and tired of this girl...
Edit: wE COOL NOW
