In theory you're right. Usually people who hold on to the past are the people who have nothing going for them at the present. Nothing is wrong with looking back though. As far as liking a certain era of music, tv, politics, ect I don't think you're a loser. You're only a loser if you used to be something back in the day and you aren't shyt now and you long for those days again.

As you get older how can you not reflect back on your youth, weather it's music, movies, games, females? That shyt seems impossible to me unless you lived a fukked up childhood but even then the past probably haunts you more than those that had good childhood.
