Need I say more.

Man, Nap is a dikk riding fakkit when it comes to imperialist nations.

He prefers might over right any day of the week.

You are right, most poor nations would benefit from a relationship with China more than the West.

The west had been nothing but a parasite in its relationship with developing countries. Atleast with China, you can see actual development in respect to infrastructure and unlike hypocritical America, they are agnostic to a country’s politics.

Ignore the Cold War and Communist/Dictators atrocities, Brehs...

China isn't some angel internationally or domestically that talking point needs to be put to bed.

Nobody says they are and they don’t pretend to be.

Much more than I can say about “spreading democracy”, getting rid of “Evil Doers” bullshyt America likes to peddle.

It's never discussed and the larger context is ignored by most people especially on forums.

That's a really pointless and cynical argument.

The US has contributed to the increase in life expectancy and quality of life around the world to countless people by their contributions to the UN and aid agencies.

It's also ridiculous to pigeon hole one administration into Americas foreign policy at large.

Maybe the non profit stuff made a difference, but that's nothing compared to the destabilization caused by the west, particularly the U.S, in South America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and Africa.

They abandoned morals that they claimed to have in order to defeat the soviet union. That's why it's laughable to hear the U.S talk about human rights, when they have backed some of the gulliest regimes ever.

The Soviets, the other alternative, were worse. At this point, there is very little reason to comment on hypocritical rhetoric made by politicians regarding human rights, as real decision-making is based on furtherance of one's interests.

Outside of making the same easy comment about how much hypocrisy the US displays, what were and what are the preferable alternatives?

You mean the Chinese nations that they dont even use local labor for?

Get over yourself.

The highway they built in Jamaica has to be RE DONE because the Chinese skimped on it.

Don't you fukking dare tell me the value of Chinese investment in poor countries.

America has held the line on more human rights abuses than any other country.

Get that zero-sum shyt outta here. Diplomacy is hard, and coaching from the sidelines isn't.
