I’m gone now, headed to my boys spot...... but I was there for a min, ate at the Aggie Wings cafe.

Not trynna overhype or over stan.

But those were some of the best wings, I’ve ever had

Good grief man...... I almost died tonight riding with my boy who was drunk behind the wheel.

leaving the club he was good or said he was good. Then we stop get something to eat, even had to run back to the hotel if a previous friend who left his cell in the truck.

Then after chilling for like 20 chatting with breh, we got on the rode to his house...... now this nicca on the highway swerving and almost about to ram into the median and cars.

Im asking him if “he good” he tell me “yea” but he keeps swerving or like on the road where it starts to curve he staying straight

I’m just trynna talk to this nicca to keep him alert.

Then I notice (even though tonight my first night at his new home) he took this weird peculiar turn.


I inquire about it and he murmurs some bum response so I’m thinking “he from here, maybe he knows a backroad”

But then the swerving becomes more aggressive. And I’m starting to see the signs say “Raleigh/Charlotte” mind you we in Greensboro


I ask this nicca about the whether tomorrow, he responds with drunk truth talking about hits hard to stay committed in a relationship

And sound like he was about to get some shyt off his chest that ain’t my biz..... I cut him off.


Now we still driving and I know it don’t or shouldn’t take that long to get back from where we was. I’m seeing more signs to Charlotte and ask him. He getting an attitude saying he good.

I go to my phone gps and see we INDEED are going to Charlotte away from his home. At that moment trynna be delicate but for real and stern but not aggressive.

I tell his ass he NEEDS TO STOP the car and let me drive.

He finally did and I had to get us back and safely.

So I MAY be moving up there if the chips are right. I'm going to hit up the Greenville area....hows living out there

I wanted to move to the triangle, but wife wants to move to Greenville

I gotta know where you're from/moving from to best answer this....

Greenville is okay for what it is. It's small and isolated and not a ton to do, but it's not a bad looking city. Women ain't all that, the white women are above average and there is a good amount of black folk but the city is segregated and not very diverse...

Trying. So far it's just NC in general, but she's more focus on that area, yet I'm aiming for Durham. We went up to Charlotte one time and wasn't really impressed. Then again it was a rainy day, so it kinda damper the mood (no pun).

Durham is overrated by Carolinians but people not from here have a more balanced opinion of the city...

City approaching 100K population.
Cost of living unparalleled.
Doing more work to improve downtown.
and improve park and trail system.
Plenty of black people here.
3rd largest state school ECU is there, so it's a collegetown.
1 hour drove to downtown Raleigh, which is live, and there is no traffic until you get right into Raleigh.
90 minute drive to closest beach, Atlantic Beach. 2 1/2 hour drive to Outerbanks. 2 hour drive to Hampton Roads
Pamlico Sound equivalent to Chesapeake Bay is even closer.
Opportunity..and city is open to whoever wants to do something and bring fresh energy to it.

Personally, I would move to Raleigh, but G-Vegas is center of Eastern North Carolina....I know this cause I grew up in Eastern NC and did undergrad in the Triangle.

Greenville is not an hour from Raleigh. It takes almost an hour to get to Rocky Mount and Greenville is about an hour past that...

If you weren't "impressed" with Charlotte, then NC is probably not the state you want to move to
