I'm pretty plugged in to NFL as well, and for a long time - and from what I understand, Sharpe always had massive respect and didn't have to pull up on anyone because nobody is trying him like that - only story I know that is actually common knowledge is him him riding on Bill Romanowski for spitting on JJ Stokes.

I mean who was Ray Lewis or Navarro Bowman pulling up on? Some people don't even get tested because ppl know they are not to play with.

"pulling up" is NOT what he meant in that sense...he said that if you got a problem with what I said then we can meet up and discuss what I said...Shannon has never had a problem talking about what he said to someone straight to their face.....hell when the whole kneeling thing was going on and he said Ray stance was weak and he didn't support it....the next show they had Ray on and he told Ray the same thing to his face...and they had some real dialogue...

even on the show there are times where he will go in on Skip forreal-unscripted depending on how serious the subject is to him.....not saying Shannon is running up on people and they are backing down but he will speak his piece on what he said and what happens from there ....

Ray Lewis is one of his closest friends, and he had NO PROBLEM criticizing him.
I thought Shannon and the entire NFL pre game team was terrible individually and as a team, but I gained new respect for SS when he spoke up about this.
