Noreaga was a C-level rapper but I still love the N.O.R.E album

Me and my cousin played this album over and over while we would drive. Body in the trunk is :wow::wow:

Nore was my fav barely lyrical rapper until Juelz came along. He got by on energy, hilarity, and game.

We used to just tell ho,s. Give me some head. Give me some head:feedme:

They would be :picard:

To which we would respond. WHAT WHAT:gladbron::gladbron:
Juelz is far from barely lyrical

On some of his more famous singles he sounds like he just freestyled some gibberish and left it on the track. Back then The Neptunes really was blessing him.
Had this on at the gym this week.
Prime Neptunes didn't miss.

:wow:

It's kinda funny how he's gotten so big and popular with credible clout in the Hip-Hop world, considering he was just a mid-rapper during the 90s when many other artists, especially in the East Coast/NYC area, were by far better.

I mean those are standard bars from the 00s, something that Cassidy, Lil Wayne and other rappers had on repeat back in that era. Sure he was better lyrically than Noreaga, but not by a landslide or anything.

Nore got more bangers under his belt than Kendrick.
That should signal how weak rap is now.

He was a bit better than mid level. He's got tracks like Banned From TV with legends on it and never really had a problem linking up with them.

Nore was it for a minute! Man I adored NYC hip hop growing up. NORE was the first album I bought with my own money…

That Firm album, Melvin Flynt the Hustler, I bought all the Nore and CNN albums I was just playing War Report on Saturday that ish STILL go!!! Phone Tap was the reason I bought the second one lol…that video :banderas: I was caught up lol…

But when you look back you certainly realize there were better rappers in that era but Nore was just different and that’s why we rocked with him
