can't even begin to imagine the amount of life that may exist or may have existed already. there could be thousands of separate galactic empire/civilizations (like Star Wars) all unaware of each others existence. There could be millions of other species like our own trying to find their way without destroying themselves in the process. Anything we could ever possibly imagine has probably already come to be. Quite overwhelming and terrifying when you really REALLY think about it.

A video I have always liked
Enjoy

Ever sit there and really take in the gravity of the possibility that there is life on other planets?
Like right now, some advanced alien species, or even advanced humans, are watching us like "yeah, we've been here, you just havn't clued in yet."

How shocked could you really be if you saw an alien tomorrow? You'd have to just accept it. If you meet one tomorrow, it would mean that they've been there a very, very long time.

:whoa:

Suns generate their own light without gathering any, there's also fluorescence where electromagnetic radiation is turned into light and bio-luminescence where living things make their own light.

:whoa: what are the physical properties of the Sun breh?
