At the end of the day I want acting black to be associated with productivity and positivity and gettin paid

I'm tired of acting black being associated with gang banging and rapping and playing basketball and having 360 waves
What you want isn’t the point of my thread nikka. It’s about how it is which you seem to understand but you wanna make it about something else.

For real where are y’all nikkas raised?! Y’all got teased for getting good grades and overachieving?!:childplease:
No, I didn't get teased. I got treated like i was the exception to the rule. Lots of "you're not like most black people." :shaq2: from rich cacs
Or the inevitable cac who grew up in the hood saying something like "i feel like i'm blacker than you.":camby:

Your experience determines your culture.......
That’s true, but you realize that doesn’t change anything, right? A lot of people of the same race usually have very similar experiences especially black people considering our history.

I’m sorry to hear that:wow:.

I had the privilege of being raised in an area where my people were a majority and I got to see them shine everyday:blessed:.

From there went to an HBCU and saw my people rise to even higher standard :smugfavre:.

I actually experienced this once when i moved to Atlanta, i lived in an affluent black suburb. The experience really opened my eyes a lot.

A slang originated by who? Shut all the way the fukk up nikka. Jesus Christ. :snoop:

Are you retarded?

Slang doesn't dictate culture..

Slang isn't culture for that matter..

Before it was the trap house it was the crack house.. Two different names, same act..

Smh.
