Don’t y’all hate when someone says “you’re acting black” to a non black person and they always reply “how can you act a color” or some other bullshyt response like that as if they don’t know damn well what you mean? What’s up with these people not wanting to admit that they’re clearly influenced by our culture? I know saying “acting black” isn’t politically correct but fukk that shyt, it’s a simple way to say it and everyone knows what the fukk it means. Obviously every single black person doesn't act one way, just as any other race or ethnicity, but it’s just disingenuous to deny that there aren’t significant differences between our culture and others like our vernacular for example that applies to most black people. I hate how they’ll imitate almost every thing from our culture then will fight tooth and nail to not give us any credit for any of it when it’s brought up.

I hate this topic becuase then you have to ask.... Whats black culture?

Where do we get "black culture" from?

Where would "non blacks" learn about black culture?

If theyre not around blacks on a daily basis.... Then most likely the media.

Who controls the media and the black image? Not black people

So whats your definition of acting black?

How do you act like a black man in 2018?

Geniunely curious.

lets put in simple terms a child can even learn from

You can't act my skin colour. And going around saying "nikka I'm gangsta" isn't acting black but stereotyping us to be all street idiots.

White people love stereotypes because it deflects them havin to actually deal with somebody on a face level!

To answer your stupid question even though I shouldn’t. From rap music, social media, etc, which yes, black people do control. White executives may be pushing it out but nikkas are the ones who are in control of what they put in their songs and such. Basically the internet and yes, some of them do hang around blacks.

I hear you.

But just so you know.... The "talent" doesn't control anything.

The bosses do.

That's like saying the cart pushers at Walmart have the same Power as the CEOs.

We dont control anything.
