Hold on to it breh. The first thing about stock is that you must IGNORE the media. This crap was written by google fanboys. I'm sure Newark pulled this article from some google fanboy blog. :rudy: Believe you me this phone will do well. This is nothing more than a hit piece written by google. Don't expect real profits until like next summer though.

As far as this article is concerned its complete bullshyt. They first reference the analysts opinions as if the mean anything, when in fact the tech media has nothing but endless praise for the phone.

Secondly prices of these phones fluctuate wildy when it comes to no contract prices. Hell, all solid phones like the lumia and iPhones have a significant markup off contract. However Nokia has secured deals with all the major carriers so expect solid sales thanks to carrier subsidies.

If your investing with the rent money then by all means sell, but most legitimate analysts are expecting at least $5 by next year. Keep in mind that the original lumia 900 has sold over 5milliom units. I expect the 920 to at least double that.

Stay strong brother.

:dead: this phone will flop

if I told you where I ranked as a sales person when I was at AT&T and now at Verizon you wouldnt believe me at all but with that experience I can tell you right now, that phone will flop.

Explain?

I really don't see why it would

1. Awesome enterprise support
2. Works really well with your Win8 PC and Xbox 360
3. Affordable, well built and very easy to use

Sure it doesn't have 300 000 apps it has 100 000's and most AAA apps are already in the marketplace.

Remember the Xbox 360. OG Xbox came in didn't do to well MS evaluated the market and killed it with the 360.

Verizon had 0 WP's now they have all the big players now with Verizon on board, ATT and T-mobile I expect marketshare and brand recognition to rise.

Doesnt mean Verizon will carry it in the store

When will you people realize its not about being better? Its about being simpler. Its that way with ALL technology. Video games, cell phones, whatever you want to name, if its a decent product but anyone can use it, it will be popular.

Lumia 920 phones MAY be better than the S3(but the S4 coming out in Feb :jawalrus: ) but how do you define better? If it takes me 5 steps to turn off the wi-fi (example, dont know how many it takes) no one is gonna buy the shyt..

windows phones have always been clunky, while improved they always been a pieceo f shyt phone. I make commission, trust me I could give a single fukk less what phone I sell, I make the same commission I do selling an iphone as I do an adroid as I do blackberry or windows phones. The reason why I and many others dont sell blackberry or windows phones is because once the customer takes it home and plays with it a few hours and realizes its a piece of shyt like we know playing with it all day in the store, then they return it. THATS where we learn our lesson because return rates at verizon effect how much commission you get (not at AT&T)

So we will do whatever we can to convince them not to buy the shyt, because we cant risk a return..

How's it a piece of shyt it's not slow, its crisp, it has apps, its very easy to use, no viruses or malware, its affordable.

Android IMO its a piece of shyt sure it has apps but I have heard several complaints of an Android being slow, buggy, confusing that doesn't offer a simplified user experience while Windows phone does.

Sure it takes 5 steps to turn Wifi off its the same thing on an iPhone and an Android but with all the Smoked by Windows Phone ad clearly shows that WP is fast at doing simple things even faster than current phones right now.

Verizon will have all WP8's in stock in stores this fall.

I can tell you that despite your high "rank" as an ATT sales person your opinion on these matters are irrelevant. The phone will sell whether you like it or not.

Now get of sohh and go finish unpacking those iPhones dummy.

:rudy:

nikka thinks becaus he sells cellphones his opinion is somehow more relevant.

i think phone might flop as well.. especially with that price.. highend should b max 150-- low end free... grab market share.. then coming generations u could raise the prices.

Those prices are without contract.. Europe is a bit different expect lower prices when it hits the NA market.

Its a bit more expensive than the GS3 but cheaper than the iPhone5.
