John holds it for themes, I mean really most people can hum one of his tunes easily. He easily has the most memorable tunes. Hans right now his most memorable are from Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Lion King. Also dont sleep on Alan Menken. He is Disney's composer so all those popular disney movies and songs were done with him. Hans even worked in tandum with him doing a film. ANother thing about Hans a lot of people dont know about is he commands a fukking army. People know he did Inception and Batman, but he also had4 other composers working with him at the time. His studo is dope as fukk, Remote control productions.
Hands down the greatest composer of the 20th-21st century.

shyt i found out about morricone the first time i saw the good bad the ugly on tbs and i kept saying how i liked the soundtrack, then i saw once upon a time in america, then kill bill happened and he was all on the soundtrack, then i started buying a grip of those flicks for cheap and looked up dudes discography and found out he's produced nothing but movie hits since the 60's sh1t, last i checked tarrantino wanted him for the soundtrack to inglorious basterds but was unavailable so i think hes still alive and kicking
