Young Turk was better than Wayne in the 90's

I think it's arguable. It's always been my theory that Turk never shined like the other Hot Boys because he's the most 'normal' sounding rapper out of all of them if that makes sense. He was dope as fukk, and records like Infrared Dot showed that, but he just couldn't stand out as much as the other three. At some point, I favored each Hot Boy over the others. They were a good group.

my brothers used to make fun of me for listening to Wayne back then...they said he was trash...I said he was nice and was gonna blow!

The same story can be repeated for Ludacris, J. Cole, Drake, Wiz Khalifa, Nelly (even though I wasn't feeling him, I knew he was gonna blow), etc etc.

...I should be an A&R.

Most of the people who praise him now don't know about anything before The Carter. Started listening at C2 or even after.
