Erkan Goren, the map writer, evidently has a different definition of cultural diversity than is common sense. Canada is listed as being more culturally diverse than the USA, but having lived in both Canada and the USA, I can say that Canada is NOT as multicultural as the USA throughout the country. As a function of the overall population, the average Canadian is far more culturally similar to one another than is the case in the USA. Accordingly there is no way Canada is more culturally diverse than the USA. Moreover Mexico isn't close to as multicultural as the USA either, despite what Goren says. Most Mexicans speak the same language, have the same or similar culture, and are genetically similar throughout vis-a-vis the USA. Therefore there is no way Mexico is more culturally diverse than the USA.

Bolding words and repeating your personal beliefs backed by no evidence does not equal proof. And Canada is far more culturally diverse than the USA, I have also lived in both countries, right now I live a literal stones throw from the border, I conduct business on both sides of the border and travel back and forth multiple times a week, there is no way in hell USA is more culturally diverse. Over a third the Canadian population lives in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal which are considered 3 of the most diverse cities in the world, I've lived in so called hick towns in BC and Alberta that are more diverse than large cities like Seattle and Portland

Goren also seems to believe that minor differences between tribes in Africa (all blacks and closely related) and people in India (all Indian and closely related) amount to huge differences in culture, but this is only his erroneous opinion. Indian culture is more similar amongst their subgroups than French culture is to Hungarian culture. The Indians have the same caste system, eat the same foods, etc. The French meanwhile have a very different cuisine to Hungarians. The people of Nigeria and Ghana are also almost indistinguishable in genetic tests and subsist on largely the same foods as well: plaintains, yams, etc. The study author is Eurocentric. In conclusion, this map is just some dumb cac's opinion couched in specious "analysis".

Even by what I think your narrow and ignorant parameters for cultural diversity are the US doesn't even measure up to Canada, Australia, UK, Norway, Netherlands and a couple more "western" countries
