"Please allow me to give some advice to the young wrestlers that would like to make it in wrestling. This is a simply lesson on just being a good person and not be a douchebag in life. I had a young man living with me (and no I won't give his name any credit) that just didn't get it. It costs 200 on the high month normal its 175 or less to live at my house. The only catch to this is you have to clean up after yourself get good gear treat the people in the house with respect and workout. (we have a full gym in our basement that cost you 5 bucks a week that he never paid because he was broke and wouldn't get a part time) Several times he was late on paying bills and Treated non wrestlers in the house like they didn't exist and would ignore them completely while they were talking face to face with them. Everyone in my house wanted him out but I stood up for him and asked them to let him stay in the house because I felt like I could really help him out. But enough was enough and he had to go so after an altercation between him and I had to kick him out. The last bit of advice I gave him was keep your mouth shut and don't run your mouth and let this shot blow over and I wished him luck on his career. This young man decided to not take the advice that was given to him and run his mouth at the shows he was on this past weekend. I took him under my wing got him most of his bookings and got him paid at said bookings. So let's give a list of ways he messed up
1 He shattered another Trainee's nose to the point that they had to have reconstructive surgery to fix it because he was unsafe.
2 would not buy gear of his own so he borrowed and had to be given old gear from other people so he looked passable.
3 would not clean up after himself and used other roommates stuff and left it dirty
4 Would never been on time when it was time to hit the road causing us to be late a few times.
5 would not keep his nose out of other people business when he had nothing to do with it.
6 stop treating people like they are objects that you use and throw away. Treat the people that call you family like they are family instead of treating them like they don't matter.
If you are a promoter and would like the name of the kid you shouldn't book please contact me.
In closing just learn to be a good person and you will go far."
Dave Crist after kicking Marcus Everett out of his house, Also did an interview on "The Road Home" podcast. I've seen Marcus at Rockstar Pro and he wrestles with reckless abandon. Doesn't surprise me this was him.
