Two years ago, WWE officials were high on No Way Jose. He didn’t achieve greatness in NXT, but Jose did anything that was asked of him. He was rewarded with a main roster debut on Raw after WrestleMania 34. Unfortunately, No Way Jose’s run isn’t gaining him much momentum and the WWE Universe isn’t responding to another dancing gimmick.
According to a report from Wrestling Observer Radio, No Way Jose was beaten by Mike Kanellis during a dark match before Raw. For Dave Meltzer, this was the ultimate sign that WWE officials have given up on Jose. No disrespect to Kanellis, but neither man is making an impact and it’s not a good sign that Jose can’t win a dark match before Raw.

Was destined to happen... these sorts of gimmicks in 2018 won't even get you a Koko B. Ware level of popularity or staying power.

I think he's a guy who might just need to fall back and pop back up with a whole new look/name/gimmick. He's afforded at least one. If they try half as much as they have with Primo & Epico and Curtis Axel, it can happen.

They FINALLY get a Dominican on the roster and dont know what to do with him? Imagine my shock..

Honestly the Mahal push should have went to him considering how under represented Dominicans are in wrestling. He could also bring up Jack Veneno nearly beating Flair for the championship in the 80's. Its not fukking rocket science.

With the roster as packed as it is and appearently them unwilling to cut people like before cause they have money to keep them now (Or so I've been told)

I dont know whats stoppng WWE from sending people to Progress, ICW, 205, NXT, WWE UK or any number of the other shows or indies that they have agreements and give them a run with something

It would probably also be a good test to see if it helps those promotions which they are altready thinking about adding to the network if they plan on expanding it and raising the tier price

I mean I know Im saying "Lets see No Way Jose going to Glasglow for 6 months justifies a 5 bucks increase'" but you get my point

Utilize the talent exchange option of the working agreement you have
