I don't live in NY so I don't have a dog in the fight. But isn't this a state issue? How is the Fed going to try to regulate something like this lol. Plus I thought the R's whole schtick was to stop fed overreach and protect states rights

No thread? Oh, we only do victim threads around here...I forgot. There is no way any poster from NY city isn't happy about this...

"The Trump administration is moving to block New York City’s congestion pricing program, reversing a federal approval granted last year and setting up a legal showdown over the tolling initiative.

The Federal Highway Administration plans to withdraw its agreement with the state-run Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which allowed the agency to impose tolls on drivers entering some of Manhattan’s busiest streets, US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said in a statement on Wednesday. The decision will likely halt the program, which began operating just last month.

“New York State’s congestion pricing plan is a slap in the face to working class Americans and small business owners,” Duffy said in a statement. “Every American should be able to access New York City regardless of their economic means. It shouldn’t be reserved for an elite few.”"

Do you live in NYC?

This is what I was thinking too, but it seems NYC needed federal approval from the Federal Highway Administration and they are rescinding that permission.

It is ironic, coming from the party that screams about states' rights. I was reading Hochul's statement, and it seems that the positives outweigh the perceived negatives, but I'd have to ask a NY'er.

The legal argument the republicans are using that this isn’t about congestion pricing but is actually a toll. Any toll that is placed on a road that is directed from an interstate requires federal signoff. Since NYC never asked for federal approval, this isn’t legal

They requested and it was approved. The Trump admin is revoking the permission according to this article.

Any black person who bytches about "victim complex" is usually a sociopath. Don't even have be race related. Just a genuine lack of empathy and consideration of others.
Another insecure negro man with a victim complex

Stop being a victim, put the snack cakes down and get your ass in the gym
Stop with the victim complex. The movie was ok for what it was. Like a lot of movies released during the summer.
