because one is some indy bytch who never has wrestled on television and her quitting AEW only pertains to her life. while the other left 175 people stranded in a country that beheads people for days, causing many to miss the WWE's live show on network television.

It could also not only pertain to her life though. It could involve other people in AEW & stuff happening that wouldn't be a good look for them. The same people who didn't dig into that story, can't wait to make it seem like something more happened here though.

Complain yes..... but not call out to GOD.... and he atheist:usure:

The 20 had their own PRIVATE PLANE

Normally in the business of “kidnapping” when the ransom is paid the hostages are released :sas1:

Oh shyt, a grumpy pro wrestler dealing with long delays to a 13+ hour flight was over the top about something, online no less :lupe:

So you think if KSA really didn't want them to leave, the 20 that did would have just done it anyway because it was a private plane that couldn't be stopped?

What was the ransom then? :ohhh:

WWE’s charter flight from Saudi Arabia landed in New York Cityon Saturday afternoon following a lengthy delay in Saudi Arabia. WWE has publicly blamed the delay on a mechanical issue with the plane, and Atlas Air (the charter company) issued an apology for the mechanical issue and delay.

All that being said, rumors have been swirling that there was more to the delay than just a mechanical issue with the plane. Former WWE Spanish announcer (and current AAA employee) Hugo Savinovich has posted a video to Facebook claiming that the real reason WWE talent was not allowed to leave Saudi Arabia was because of a dispute between Vince McMahon and the Crown Prince. Savinovich claims that WWE was owed millions of dollars by the Saudi government (he claims somewhere between $300 and $500 million) and that McMahon retaliated by cutting the Crown Jewel live TV feed in Saudi Arabia (Crown Jewel did end up starting almost an hour late on MBC Action Network in Saudi Arabia). This upset the Crown Prince who responded by forcing WWE talent off their flight and causing the delay.

Savinovich claims that he has gotten this news from someone with direct knowledge of the situation.

For what it’s worth, WWE noted on last week’s conference call that they received a $60 million payment for an “outstanding receivable” but did not provide any other details.

Additionally, Dave Meltzer tweeted on Saturday that WWE was recording video footage of talent stating that the delay was due to a mechanical issue with the plane, which is a bit odd: “One person in the company said WWE is trying to get video from as much talent as possible to claim the mechanical issues on the plane were the problem. Just the fact they would do this is very strange.”

Gotta preface this by writing "if true"...

But IF TRUE, this is by far the craziest thing Vince has ever done. Like, the man exhibited complete and total lunacy in taking on the KSA like that over money they don't really need. Not to mention leaving the talent high and dry to deal with the fallout. Don't know how anyone trusts him after this.

But again, if true and all...

I do enjoy that AEW said Kylie Rae wanted her release so they released her & the wrestling media went "personal issues" & kept it moving :manny:

WWE said there was a problem with the plane & the same people went "don't believe that shyt at all, planes never fukk up & cause travel delays, something is going on" :unimpressed:

According to Savinovich, WWE was owed millions of dollars for two of the shows that the company held in Saudi Arabia (h/t to WrestlingNews.co). He said that the amount could be between $300 to $500 million, which sounds insanely high as WWE is estimated to generate $40 - $50 million per event in Saudi Arabia.

Savinovich said that Vince McMahon retaliated by cutting off the Crown Jewel live TV feed in Saudi Arabia. Savinovich said that The Crown Prince was so upset about the feed being cut off that he ordered the WWE talent to be taken off of the plane right before the flight was scheduled to take off. Savinovich asserted that this was not a hearsay rumor, and that he heard this from someone with direct knowledge of the situation.

I actually believe the money issue thing but partly

Between the war in Yemen costing way more than expected and countries like China no longer buying oil from them due to the emergence of fraking (meaning they can produce their own)
The Saudis have had to shake down many companies internally who they gave money to on projects that have been slow to complete (Hence that story 2 years ago of MBS arressting a 100 businessman)
Also why theyve increased costs on foreigners/expats living their hence why hundreds of thousands are leaving year by year whereas before they were a key component of the work force there

Despite all the annoucements of projects and things being added with an aim to 2030, including increased benefits to locals they have a money issue right now on the low and economy has its problems that all these entertaiment projects

This also doesnt factor the idea that the government office is extremely slow with paying people (Ive done consultancy and project work there believe me I know) and I was pretty shocked that they even signed WWE to a 10 year billlion dollar deal cause I knew they didnt have that kind of money

Vince shouldnt have gone on this trip if they still had not paid them rather than do something as stupid as cut the live feed. The only thing I find suspect about the story is why would anyone be that dumb to do something like that and then leave their talent (especially when talent have options to leave) so thats why I think the story might be bullshyt

But the idea the Saudis havent paid them in full yet I totally believe because thats what they do out there

who knows what the truth is, but just to play along with the current dirt sheet reports out now ...

say what you will about Vince (and there is plenty to be said), but the amount of balls it would take to do something like that to Saudi Arabia while over there is wild. regardless if they owe him money or not, the balls it would take to cut off their live feed while there is nuts :mjlol:

you ain't in America. Saudi Arabia don't care if you worth 10 billion or 10 dollars, you still gonna get dealt with the same way

if this shyt is true and he left most of the talent over there after flexing on them like that then :picard:

Have you never seen people complain about even the most minor of inconveniences on social media? They apparently got on the plane & couldn't get back off or they would have had to get through customs again, so they stayed on for hours before it was decided they couldn't fly. There were 100+ people stuck on the other side of the world not knowing when stuff would get sorted so they could get home.

The roster was working on Monday & had to fly out for the show on Thursday & in the case of some had to fly straight back into working SmackDown on Friday. Then they had to deal with a delay that kept them there for an extra day. Their also about to start a UK tour so they lost a day or 2 at home before they go right back out on that tour.

Don't have a clue about the money stuff, also don't know if they were due that payment now or later after they do the 2 shows a year that they signed on to do :manny:

Why would they "kidnap" 100+ people & just let them go 24 hours later? Why would they allow the 20 or whatever that left go? What would that accomplish? Why would the airline release a statement taking the blame? Why would they cut the feed of the show in KSA only for it to resume an hour later if Vince was pissed?

Vince got in a dikk measuring contest with the wrong people. It’s in line with what we’ve always known about Vince.

“More than 175 Superstars, production crew and employees boarded a 747 charter flight back to the United States on Thursday. After the door closed, due to several aircraft problems including mechanical issues, all passengers sat on the tarmac for more than six hours. With SmackDown set to emanate live from Buffalo, N.Y., several Superstars felt so strongly that they arranged for their own separate charter in order to make it back to the U.S. for the show. “

Do you believe that section of the statement in full?
