This whole thing has been a real life re-enactment of the 'Now we got us a secret, bytch' bit from 'The Bird Revelation'

Don't get worked by this obvious work, marks. People have left Vince over much less. He's trying to save face and keep his heat. You really think a new big money backed company starts up and the workers are scared to stand up to him? It's a rib. Vince is scared. He's planting Apter stories in the sheets.

Some wrestlers plan on not going to WWE's next Saudi Arabia show in February | Wrestling News

WWE is expected to announce soon that they will be returning to Saudi Arabia in February as part of their multi-year deal with the Saudi government.

The belief is that the show will take place on February 20 or February 27 and the date depends on what the Saudi government wants to do. Once they have a date locked in then WWE will make an announcement to the talent and presumably in a press release on their website.

If they end up running the show on Thursday, February 27 then it means they will have to rush back to the United States for Friday Night SmackDown in Boston. Last time, most of the WWE crew was stuck because of what the company says were “mechanical issues” with the plane. The mechanical issues may have been legitimate but there are many who feel that other issues were at play since there Vince McMahon is believed to have cut the feed for Saudi Arabia that led to their last show airing on a 40-minute delay.

Several wrestlers said privately around the time of the “mechanical issues” that they were not planning on going back to Saudi Arabia. Now, with the heightened tensions in the Middle East, specifically the recent issues in Iran, there are more wrestlers questioning whether they should fly out for the next show. I was told that at least two more wrestlers have decided against going to the next Saudi Arabia show.

WWE shouldn’t have any issues with lack of talent because plenty will likely fly out and collect a nice paycheck for working on that show but it will be interesting to see if any top names decide to pull out.

They might want to postpone future shows until all this shyt with Iran calms down. I wouldn’t go, that would be a huge target for some terrorist organization
Let's not forget the Daivari brothers basically selling out their heritage to be heels in KSA propaganda.

They got death threats for that.

And speaking of threats, Iran basically pledged to bomb Dubai and Israel less than a month ago.

I don't blame anyone who doesn't go, their lives may literally depend on that decision.

PW Insider reports that the next WWE show in Saudia Arabia will now take place on Thursday February 27th.

This will be the fifth event run broadcast by WWE in the Middle-East, with live unaired events taking place since 2014. Last October’s Crown Jewel special saw The Fiend capture the Universal Championship from Seth Rollins in a falls count anywhere main event, a card that also featured the first ever WWE women’s matchup between Natalya and Lacey Evans, and boxing superstar Tyson Fury taking on Braun Strowman.

An official announcement has yet to be made.

Stay tuned.
