this could be the issue:

"Conspiracy crimes have an exception to the 5-year statute of limitation. if this money was FDIC insured or if all robberies at airports are federal crimes, the moment these guys do anything to further their conspiracy, they renew the SOL. i dont really know, but this looks pretty solid. the feds will probably bring evidence that the conspiracy to get rid of evidence was continued sometime fairly recently. i think the wiretaps are from 2011...
