To me, the best part is the fact it tells you when a message has been delivered and also when that message has been open and read.

So do lots of other messengers.... this isn't special or exclusive at all.

I've seen plenty that tell you when delivered, but none that actually say the person physically opened the message. Even handcent gives a check mark saying the message was received, but that's just when it gets to the other device. I want something letting me know if the person actually opened it and read it.

If you know of something, let me know. Not some program that will eat my battery alive though

what are you talkin about?? The chat head inside the app shows where the person read up to and you get confirmation when they text you back. What you think the chat head below themessage represent

You can also tell when the person is typing. There is a .... wave animation when they are typing a message
