It backfired spectacularly. Not only did it expose their blatant racism and not giving a shyt about people being killed by guns, but did so on a national scale to the point their Governor had to tell them to come up with stricter laws.

So Barrett couldn't stand to vote out the white woman but had no problem throwing out the 2 Black men for the exact same thing. If it didn't hold for her, then it didn't hold for them. If the resolution didn't establish she did anything wrong and the resolution didn't change except for the names, then the 2 Black men did nothing wrong as well.
