My statement made no assumptions or insinuations about Syria being "good" or "bad." I just realized that (Syria/CW ban) was a detail that some people misunderstood, so I mentioned it. That's all. As I said, it doesn't change anything about my calculation on Syria, and I don't imagine it would have much of an effect on others, either.
