I am PROBABLY the biggest critic of the Obama admin on this fukking board and all of my criticisms are based on EVIDENCE. If all you have is I DONT THINK Assad would use Chem weapons, then please stop talking and do not quote me.

Bashar as it stands has used chemical weapons against Sunni Muslims in the middle east, what is the outcome now even if NATO doesn't drop the bombs on his head? You think that this dude can remain in power even if he through some miracle defeated the FSA? Are you kidding me? Not only will the Sunni's never stop fighting him, ever, this will bring in even more foreign fighters and eventually they will defeat Assad. If these foreign fighters are teh reason why they defeat Assad, they will most likely be Al-Q types and then what? America will have no say as they allowed Bashar to butcher his own people and Al-Q types ended it. The faster this man is disarmed and brought to justice the better.

I never at any point said anyone was evil except Assad. He is evil and a lowlife disgusting hereditary dictator. I don't think Shia's or Alawi's are evil and I never at any point derided them, they didn't vote for Assad. The problem here is sitting out a conflict where there are chem weapons being used... non intervention is a foolish strategy all around. What did non-intervention get us in Rwanda? Maybe if there was the proper political will there, there would be hundreds of thousands of people alive there. Don't take my word for it, watch Romeo Dellaire's movie Shake hands with the devil.

At a certain point the global community has to step in and say enough. I am not advocating for regime changing or neo-conservatism but what I am advocating is using the existing historical norms of international investigation and law to implement bilateral actions in order to stop atrocities.

British MPs have voted against possible military action against Syria to deter the use of chemical weapons.

David Cameron said it was clear the British Parliament does not want action and "I will act accordingly".

The government motion was defeated 285 to 272, a majority of 13 votes.

I wonder if our President will follow the Constitutional requirement for Congressional approval. Not that the vote wouldn't pass. Just want to see if he's going to do what he blasted Bush for not doing. Also, Biden once said that going to war without congressional approval is grounds for impeachment.

Its to many questions you as a thinking person have to ask as to why Assad would do this???? .... I've heard these point mentioned on the Alt Media several times .... so i'll just share what has been mentioned ..... basically just proof and reasoning ......... cause I sorta kinda remember 10 years ago, we were told something about this mustached guy name Sad Huss having this and that stored up somewhere, and that was enough to go war ..... not to many months afterwards we found it was all hogwash mixed with bovine excrement .... so ......

1) A. Assad was already beating these "rebels", why did he need to use chemical weapons for any reason whatsoever ....
B. More importantly, if he was beating these "rebels" why would Assad attack his own citizens??? What does he gain from doing that??
C. Why wouldn't he use the gas against these rebels if he was on that chem weap steeze??

2) A. The UN inspectors were in town the same day of the attack ..........So why would Assad attack his own citizens with chem weapons on the same day the UN inspectors are in town to investigate??

3) A. The same "rebel" guy that was snacking on a human heart, is the same guy leading these ...... "rebels" ...
