You again being deliberately obtuse. No one is saying that. It's just Ray should know better giving his past that it's going to make him target. Ray should know it does more harm than good to use religion in the way he has making him above criticism.

Is there any reason/evidence to suggest he isn't, despite this anti-Lewisism stance that folk have got going on; desperately trying to degrade his character by finding any lil' weight they can use against him and exaggerating it to suit their predisposed take of who they think he is - just because:
a) they're put off by him using the NFL as a stage for his own personal pulpit
b) he was involved in murdering TWO people, and nothing he'll ever do out of 'redemption' will change that because he'll always be a "ex-double murderer".

Naw. That's not an educated guess. That's an illogical guess. Has anything he done since then outweighed his genuine attempt to rectify his life? What scandals has he been in since then? What catastrophic mistakes has he made since then (and not insignificant mistakes that all humans make on their path to 'finding god')?

You bring up a good point which strengthens my point. The act of changing who you are is the hardest thing to do. Ask yourself how many people you know who have battled addiction whether smoking or drinking actually overcome that addiction? Majority never will overcome that.
The act of changing is the hardest thing a person can do any many don't. I am also extremely weary of those who publicize this "change" in a self indicting, self persecuted way. As if those who don't believe him are haters or devils or a weapon formed against him
